CAS BEATS BALAMBAN, ENTERS FINALS

After losing to Balamban during the first day, College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) took revenge and beat Balamban, 57-43 to pierce finals appearance.

Throughout the first half of the game, CAS dominated and left a large lead over Balamban, 16-9 in the 1st quarter, and 30-18 in the second.

Balamban fought to cut down the lead but CAS' defense and strategy limited Balamban's Joseph Turtor to only 10 points.

Marvin Tan finished with 14 points to lead CAS. Team Captain Angelo Opolentisima had 12 markers while Aumento and Orozco combined for 14 points.
