MEDELLIN REACHES TOP AT SEPAK TAKRAW

Medellin and Balamban Campus keep the fire burning in the court.

The tournament started around 9 am at Cebu City Sports Complex.

Medellin Campus won against CTE during the sixth game with the score of 2 – 0.

CTE and Balamban Campus then compete in the next game, it was a good fight between the players but in the end, Balamban Campus wins with the score of 2 – 0. Balamban Campus and Medellin Campus fought for the trophy.

The first round was an intense fight, Medellin scores 25 – 21. In the next two rounds, Balamban Campus showed more effort and didn’t want Medellin Campus to gain points and ended in the favor of Balamban with the scores of 25 - 16 in both rounds.

In the fourth and last round, Medellin fought with fierce knowing that it was the last round to get the trophy. The players put all their efforts unto the game. 21 – 18 was the score that ended the competition.

After nearly four hours of playing the game, Medellin finally had the glimpse of the trophy.

The best fight both teams ever had during the whole tournament.

Kirby Villagaz, best player of the Sepak Takraw this year, said that the root of his motivation was his team, for without his team, they wouldn't win the game.

2nd place goes to the Balamban Campus and the 3rd place goes to the College of Teacher Education.
