‘I JUST JUMP’

CNU Medellin ranked the highest twice earlier this morning during the Track and Field Competition at Cebu City Sports Center (CCSC) Field.

Shildon Dela Rama of CNU Medellin gained the victory after scoring his best attempt up to 11.44 meters in Triple Jump Competition for men's category.

Same athlete also ranked first in High Jump Competition after hopping and reaching up to 1.55-meter height of the bar.

Here are the winners for High and Triple Jump Competition (Men’s Category) together with their scores:

TRIPLE JUMP

1st Place: Shildon Dela Rama – CNU Medellin – 11.44 meters

2nd Place: James Ben Apostol - College of Teacher Education (CTE) - 11.03 meters

3rd Place: Mesullam Moralde- CNU-Medellin - 9.74 meters

4th Place: Jan Cliford Yncierto - CTE - 9.31 meters

HIGH JUMP

1st Place: Shildon Dela Rama – CNU Medellin – 1.55 meters

2nd Place: Mesullam Moralde – CNU Medellin – 1.42 meters

3rd Place: Joshua Banasa – College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) – 1.36 meters

4th Place: Ranilo Dimpak – CTE – 1.36 meters

According to Dela Rama, his inspirations as he played the game are his coach, family, and God.

Dela Rama said that there is always a constant pressure for him and he never underestimates his opponents.

When asked if how did he overcome these circumstances, he said, “I just jump”.
