CAMS Got Talent

Along with its 10th anniversary, the Cebu Alliance of Mass Communication Students (CAMS) in cooperation with ABS-CBN Cebu held its annual CAMS Got Talent competition yesterday, August 24, 2017 at Robinsons Galleria Cebu.

CAMS Got Talent 2017 was participated by Communication students from University of San Carlos (USC), Cebu Normal University (CNU), Cebu Technological University (CTU), University of the Philippines - Cebu (UP - Cebu), Cebu Institute of Technology-University (CIT-U), St. Theresa's College (STC), University of San Jose - Recoletos (USJR), and University of the Visayas (UV).

The said competition was hosted by TV Patrol Central Visayas Star Patroller, Ms. Phoebe Kaye Fernandez, and Mr. Jersey Blanco, Campus Patroller from UP - Cebu.

The students showcased their talents in singing, dancing and comical skit.

In the singing category, CIT-U won 3rd place, USC on 2nd place and UV prevailing as 1st placer.

In the dance category, STC got the 3rd place, UP on the 2nd place and USC as the champions.

For comical skit with the theme: "In fight against fake news", STC made it to the 3rd place, UV placed on the 2nd, and UP got the trophy.

In the middle of the event, ABS-CBN's Bernadette Sembrano surprised the crowd by showing her presence.

She talked about the upcoming activities ABS-CBN will hold in line with their 30th anniversary.

On August 31, 2017, Thursday, CAMS will have its Campus Patrol Competition at Robinsons Galleria Cebu.
