General Consultation

A General Consultation for the students of College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) was held yesterday at the Teaching Arts Centrum (TAC) ground floor of Cebu Normal University (CNU).

Dr. Joseph Tubilan, welcomes the Liberals and gave an inspiring speech to all the students.

INTRAMURALS FEE

Hon. Aiphrelle S. Uy, Governor of the Council of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLASS), presented to the Liberals their plans for the upcoming Intramural Games 2017.

The council came up with Plan A and Plan B for the said Intramurals.

For Plan A, students from College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) will contribute a total amount of 300.00 for the combined Intramurals fee and Membership fee.

For Plan B, students will only pay 50.00, however, each organization will adapt a team wherein they will be financing their assigned team and take care of everything until the end of the Intramurals.

Here are the lists of the organizations and their sports team:

Since it is a general consultation, students were also given the chance to give their opinions and suggestions.

The student body from CAS suggested to lower the amount to pay for the Intramurals.

They suggested the amount of ₱150.00, ₱200.00, and 250.00.

The CLASS came up with Plan C. This contains the suggestions from the Liberals.

After the Open Forum segment, CLASS gave every student the chance to vote their preferred plan for the Intramural Games 2017.

INTRAMS FUTURE EXPENSES/ACTIVITIES

Along with the plans for the Intramurals, Hon. Uy also prepared the future expenses and activities for the Academic Year (A.Y) 2017-2018.

For the Intramurals Future Expenses, the council alloted an estimated total of 262,100.00 that includes CAS shirt, Cultural Events shirt, jersey, food, water and sports equipments for the athletes, and expenses for Mr. and Ms. CAS and Mr. and Ms. CNU 2017.

Win or lose, the CAS Department will still hold its victory party after the Intramural games.

CAS has been the champion for the past 16 years and the CLASS officers are confident to bag another gold for this year.

The council estimated an amount of 38,000.00 for their planned activities which includes the Victory Party, Career Talk, Liberal Summit, CAS Days, and ACERS.

Hon. Uy emphasized the importance of paying the Intramurals fee and membership fee.

According to Uy, the whole CAS Department will definitely benefit from the success of the Intramural games, win or lose.
